On February 2, it is informed from National Satellite Meteorological Center (NSMC) that together with Institute of Urban Meteorology of CMA, it carried out technical personnel exchanges and joint research, realized the assimilation and assessment of microwave humidity sounder data of FY-3C meteorological satellite in Ruitu model of IUM, which promoted the application of FY satellite data in Ruitu application, and provided technical support for the meteorological services for Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games.  

This joint research has covered technical research of error correction, cloud verification and rapid forward modeling in satellite data assimilation, realized the assimilation of MWHS of FY-3C satellite in Ruitu model, and effectively promoted the application of satellite data in RMAPS model. This joint research has pushed forward the data sharing and close-knitted collaboration between NSMC and IUM. (Feb. 17)
